Wipro Online Coding Contest:
Recently, Wipro has added Coding contest to it’s hiring process. If you have not participated in any previous coding contest, it is will difficult to crack it and solve those programming puzzle.
The coding tests would be in a compiler based environment. In the first coding test, some extracts of source code would be provided and you need to review and debug the same. In the second coding test a problem statement would be given and you would need to write and compile the source code for the same.
Some of the best website for these type of coding contest and puzzle are: HackerRank & HackerEarth. It is recommended to solve few puzzle before attending this round and also you can gain enough experience about the coding contest.
2. Technical Round:
To crack technical round, there are two important factors: your confidence level and the other is strong technical skill in any of the programming language like C, Java, C++ etc. The most common technical questions asked in this rounds are:
- Tell me about yourself?
- Write program for prime number, Fibonacci, palindrome etc. using C and Java
- OOPs concepts like polymorphism, abstraction, inheritance etc.
- Write tables and query for SQL and database
- Regarding you projects
- About you academics
- Why you have chosen IT field?
Note: If you are ECE or non-IT stream, be thorough with all basic concepts from your core branch. Most of the interview question will be from your project and basic concept.
3. HR Round:
The HR will ask questions related to job relocation, training and agreement. Meanwhile HR will checks your communication skills, confidence and body language. Sometime, they might also end up asking you puzzle, technical skills. Most commonly asked HR interview question for freshers in Wipro are:
